Favorite Authors

It’s about time I posted a page listing my favorite authors. This is by no means a complete list of all of their books, you can visit their author pages on Amazon for those, or their individual websites. You will find all the authors below in my blog posts. Since I started eBookFoodie, these are some of the authors who have inspired me to make up recipes like Coffee Glazed Banana Scones and there are many, many more!

Some of my Favorite Authors – alphabetical order.

Ilona Andrews

Ilona Andrews – A husband-and-wife writing team. Their wicked humor and word-building blow my mind every single time I read one of their novels. I follow them on Instagram, Twitter, and their blog. Also the only two book signings and meet-and-greets that I’ve ever been to were to meet these two!

Bailey Cates

Bailey Cates – Her Magical Bakery Mysteries inspire me to bake, and imagine spell-infused goodies.

Cheesy, Cheesy Poofs, Bacon, Peanut butter & Banana Cookies,

Selina J. Eckart

Selina J. Eckart – Her cozy pumpkin spiced Pie-Jinks books inspired me to bake an award winning pie!

Hailey Edwards

Hailey Edwards – Her books inspire me to make recipes with lots of bacon, and make me crave churros! I love her spunky and strong heroines!

Churros

Jeaniene Frost

Jeaniene Frost – She writes the BEST paranormal romance vampire novels ever! (Her Broken Destiny series is great too. It could be considered YA.)

Steve Higgs

Steve Higgs – His books are probably the FUNNIEST I’ve ever read. Definitely the most laugh-out-loudest! I’ve read about half of the Blue Moon Investigations (Paranormal Nonsense) books so far. Start with these ten book bundles! He has many more series on my TBR list!

The “Worlds Best Granola” Naughty Granola, Baked Oatmeal

Keith Houston

Keith Houston – I bought this beauty as a coffee table book for a friend, and went back and got one for myself! I highly recommend a hard copy of this one if you can find it, it’s truly lovely.

Shady Characters

Barbara O’Neal

Barbara O’Neal – Her books inspire me to cook, bake and dream.

Howard J. Reiss

Howard J. Reiss – The Year of Soup one was a suggestion from Goodreads, I think, and it came to me when I needed it most. Also, soup… mmmmm soup… TW // suicide

Sopa Tarasca, Back to our Roots soup

Charity Tahmaseb

Charity Tahmaseb – My go-to author when I need a fun, warm, clean read, like Coffee and Ghosts, and since I’m a coffee snob, I love her Coffee and Ghosts series! It’s a cozy paranormal mystery/romance serial written in episodes. The main character is only 20, so it could be YA.

Fluffy Pancakes, Banana Scones with Coffee Glaze, Banana Filled Cake with Coffee Buttercream

Johnny B. Truant / Sterling & Stone

Johnny B. Truant/Sterling & Stone – His books are full of humor! The Fat Vampire series is a favorite of mine. I follow their blog where they have a wonderful website full of advice for self-published authors. I need to add more of their books to my TBR!

More Favorite Authors Coming Soon!

For a (mostly) complete list of what I’ve been reading, here’s my Goodreads list. I try to remember to post books read there, like A Lover’s Secret by Howard Reis that I just finished. Some of my favorites are listed and some books I’ve read for book reviews. Goodreads is nice to use because if you forget about an author between publications, Goodreads send you notifications when new books are published!
